Brazil registers 10,982 new instances of COVID-19, deaths at 153,905

BRASILIA – Brazil reported 10982 new cases of COVID-19 and 230 deaths from the disease through the new coronavirus in more than 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced sunday.

The South American country has recorded 5,235,344 cases since the start of the pandemic, while the official number of COVID-19 deaths has increased to 153,905, according to ministry data, in the world’s deadliest outdoor epidemic in the United States. through Anthony Boadle; Edited through Peter Cooney)
