We moderate the comments. Our goal is to provide substantive feedback to a general public. By filtering presentations, we provide an area where readers can share smart, informed comments that improve the quality of our news and information.
While the maximum comments will be published if they are on the subject and not abusive, moderation decisions are topical. We will take them as consciously and systematically as possible. Due to the volume of reader feedback, we review individual moderation decisions with readers.
We appreciate the feedback considered a diversity of views that express your point of view on a temporary and courteous basis. We try discussions based on repeated comments from the same reader or other readers.
We adhere to the same taste criteria as life. Some things we won’t tolerate: non-public attacks, obscenity, vulgarity, profanities (including swearing and scripted letters), advertising promotion, identity theft, inconsistency, proselytizing and CRIER. Do not include website URLs.
We do not replace comments. They are approved or deleted. We reserve the right to edit a comment quoted or extracted from an article. In this case, we can correctly type spelling and punctuation.
We welcome strong comments and criticisms of our work, however, we need feedback to get bogged down in discussions about our policies and moderate accordingly.
