BRASILIA – Brazil recorded 16389 cases that showed more cases of the new coronavirus in more than 24 hours and 363 deaths from the disease, the ministry of fitness announced Sunday.
The figures do not come with new cases or deaths in the Brazilian states of Tocantins, Amapa and Roraima, as the state government did not disclose updated statistics on Sunday, the ministry said.
South America’s largest country has recorded more than 4. 5 million cases of viruses since the start of the pandemic, according to ministry data, calling it the third worst outbreak in the world after the United States and India.
Nearly 137,000 more people have died from the disease in Brazil, which is located in the United States alone for coronavirus deaths (report via Jake Spring; edited through Diane Craft).
