The Victorian College of Nurses of Canada presented Bracebridge resident Nan Cleator with a National Award of Distinction from VON Canada in a virtual awards rite on September 25. In addition to being identified for her exemplary contributions to VON’s paintings in the home and care of paintings online, Nan was identified for helping shape VON’s COVID-19 response, which ensures the protection of suppliers from attention number one and your customers.
Cleator has supported excellence at VON for 30 years. As a national practice consultant, she is helping to advise the practices that fitness service providers use at the checkout when offering home care. Cleator has extensive experience in infection prevention and array throughout his career, has been actively involved in infection prevention and associations in Ontario, Nova Scotia and nationally, and has been a member of the specialized management organization of the Canadian Public Health Agency since 2003, where he brought home and network care attitudes. consulting lines for intravenous treatment and vascular access.

Cleator was identified along with four other VON National Prize winners, all from Nova Scotia: Joy Saunders de Lunenberg, Robert Estabrooks of Cumberland and Carlton Sanford of Halifax. This year’s winners are brilliant examples of VON’s values of respect, compassion and excellence, and his paintings have had an immeasurable effect on our community,” VON said.
In addition to the 4 annual awards, VON has added a 5th category of awards for 2020: the COVID-19 Excellence Awards, which have identified several VON groups for their efforts in the home and network care sector the ordinary and unprecedented cases of the COVID -19 pandemic.
