Bombardier Opens Abu Dhabi Service Center and Expands Aftermarket Presence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates, December 6, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Bombardier today announced the official opening of its new service center at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The new facility is Bombardier’s first full-service facility in the UAE and builds on its long-term commitment to our consumers in this critical market. At full capacity, the new OEM-operated service facility will also create more than one hundred aerospace jobs in the community, cementing Bombardier’s presence in this key monetary hub. Bombardier’s new Abu Dhabi Service Center will feature a giant hangar, a full portion depot and a full diversity of maintenance services, plus planned and unplanned heavy maintenance, aircraft modifications, paint modification, aircraft floor capacity (AOG) and aircraft parking services.

The new facility will also accommodate up to 4 Global 7500 aircraft and will serve Bombardier’s flagship of a new era, the Global 8000, when it enters service in 2025.
