Obama followed his tweet wishing the president and first an early recovery with a message of unity.
“Obviously, we’re in the middle of a big political war right now, and even though there’s a lot at stake, let’s say we’re all Americans. We’re all human beings. And we need everyone to be healthy, not our party,” he wrote.
