WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U. S. President Joe Biden is expected to impose new restrictions on India starting Tuesday in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, banning the entry into the United States to the fullest of non-U. S. citizens, a White House official told Reuters.
The new restrictions are on the recommendation of the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
