Democrats seeking to convince Joe Biden to drop out of the presidential race are flattering them to get him to accept. They thank him for saving the country from his predecessor, Donald Trump, tell him that he was one of the most productive presidents of all time, and then recommend that he resign to maintain his legacy.
Regardless of whether or not the country needed to be sustained by Trump, Biden did not “do a great job as president,” as the kind and generous New York Times claims. While he is “one of the greatest presidents in our nation’s history,” as Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said when he called on Biden to resign, the consequences have been overwhelmingly negative.
Biden may have been remembered simply as a president who unified the country and passed the baton to a new generation of leaders. To do this, he had to govern like a common-sense centrist, then keep his word and pass the baton. It is already creating 1. 4 million jobs compared to the month before Biden was sworn in. Had he accelerated the reopening of the economy after the COVID-19 lockdowns, he would have presided over strong and equitable economic growth.
Instead, he let complacent historians convince him that he could be the arrival of Franklin Roosevelt. Manipulated through the left, he pushed for large-scale spending on a purely partisan basis, sending inflation sky-high and punishing vulnerable workers. As a direct result of Biden’s partisan overspending, consumers have racked up $12. 8 trillion in housing debt, $1. 62 trillion in auto debt, and $1. 1 trillion in credit card debt, all they records. According to the Federal Reserve’s latest Economic Wellbeing Survey, inflation has made the finances worse for 65% of people, adding 19% who said things were “much worse. ” Nearly a fifth of adults, or 17 percent, said they were unable to pay all their expenses in the month before the survey.
No electorate disapproves of Biden’s handling of the economy by 20 percentage points.
Biden was also assigned a secure border where fewer than 2,500 migrants were encountered daily. A month after dismantling Trump’s successful “Remain in Mexico” program, Biden’s border catch-and-release policies have sent more than 3,500 arrests to the borders. Biden claimed that it was just a “seasonal” fluctuation that “occurs each and every single year. ” But then the numbers reached 5,775 per day in March and gradually increased to an all-time high of 9,741 meetings per day last December.
As a direct result of the border crisis created by Biden, local governments across the country will have to cut facilities for native-born Americans and lay off workers to help pay for food, housing, physical care and education for illegal immigrants from Biden. Women have been raped and murdered by immigrants Biden has allowed into the country. Most of the 3. 8 million illegal immigrants are not violent criminals, however, if only 1% of them are, that means 38,000 threats to today’s society that would not have been in the country if Trump was still president.
Biden has also created weakness and instability abroad. He has single-handedly appeased the Iranian terrorist regime, encouraging indirect attacks against US forces in the region. As oil dollars returned thanks to Biden’s easing of sanctions, Iranian cash flowed to the Houthi rebels, who now threaten foreign shipping, and to Hamas, which has inflicted wonderful damage on Israel, adding the kidnapping of American hostages that Biden doesn’t seem to care about.
It is difficult to see how Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, a politically hasty move that claimed the lives of thirteen American service members, inspired Russian aggression. And while Biden has done some smart work in managing NATO’s reaction to the invasion of Ukraine, he has been slow and indecisive in offering Ukraine the weapons it wants to repel invading Russian troops.
Then there are Biden’s divisive measures by forcing women’s dormitories and bathrooms to accommodate men, forcing consumers to buy electric cars, and selectively prosecuting his political opponents.

There’s one explanation (and indeed many explanations) for why Biden has the lowest approval score among presidents at this point in his presidency: He’s a bad president. There is no amount of praise from the New York Times or the Democrats willing to expel him. of his crusade for re-election will replace that.
Biden will have to go, not because his legacy is splendid, but because he has been an absolute calamity for America.
