On Wednesday, the Biden administration renewed the Covid-19 public health emergency, a provision the administrative government has a chance to respond to the pandemic as cases rise again.
U. S. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra renewed the declaration when it expired, a step expected as officials said they would give 60 days of ice if they planned to renew the emergency, and they did.

“The resolution to end Covid (public fitness emergency) will be made through the HHS Secretary based on the most productive clinical knowledge and knowledge available. Any suggestion that an express end date has been set is false,” the official said.
