The injunction, which was received through Fox News, states that the administration’s moves “likely violate the lax speech clause” and that the court “is not convinced by the defendants’ arguments,” dealing a blow to the White House.

The cases may also mean that interactions between tech corporations and government officials may also be particularly limited in the future. Exceptions could come with threats to national security or cases of social media scams.
The injunction won favorable responses Tuesday from attorneys in Missouri and Louisiana.
“Happy Birthday America. You Get Your First Amendment!” wrote Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey in a tweet.
“Today’s historic resolution is a major step in the ongoing fight to ban our government from unconstitutional censorship,” Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry said in a statement.
