Owain spent more than 7 months at TechRadar, a leader in all content for creators. With a background in business and marketing, he delights for over 7 years testing builders, building his own ads, and writing about business and marketing topics.   It has also introduced several successful businesses, adding e-commerce outlets and a marketing agency.

Weebly offers a wonderful free online page builder that’s a bit easier to use than Wix. This is an ideal option for those who temporarily create a very undeniable site.

Weebly’s free plan gives you the same bandwidth and storage as Wix, but it also has the added advantages of allowing you to pay bills online.

Our opinion:

Wix is a reputable developer with one of the most impressive developers in the industry and, surprisingly, a completely flexible plan.

Characteristics

Wix’s AI mode is the simplest way to create a new site. The editor asked us questions about our business, the pages we needed, and our design preferences, and then automatically creates an online page in seconds. We found the site Basic, with few customizations, but the procedure undeniable and very fast.

Those interested in learning more can upgrade to the full Wix editor, where a full suite of rugged editing equipment allows you to adjust it and give it the look you want.

You can also use Wix’s new AI-powered online page builder. This takes WIX ADI to the next level. When you use the tool, an AI-powered chatbot will ask you several questions. It will then use the data you provide in your responses to create a custom online page that includes the template, written content, and images/videos. Unlike the ADI tool, the new AI online page builder will also install business equipment such as scheduling, e-commerce, and occasion control on your online page.

If you go the manual route, there are also a variety of interesting templates on offer, but be careful: we’ve found that once you’ve selected your favourite, you won’t be able to transfer it later. If you think your site wants a new look, the only thing you can do is start from scratch – it’s not practical.

Limits

Wix’s free sites have some disruptions and limitations. There’s only 500MB of storage, place Wix classified ads on each and every page, and not only is there no support for traditional domains, but your free Wix URL will be longer than the maximum (your compte. wixsite. com/votrenom name of the site. )

If you’re looking to sell online, you may not be able to do so with Wix’s free plan. In fact, even Wix’s basic plan does not offer eCommerce functionality. You’ll want to sign up for the more expensive Core plan at $29/month to be able to sell online.

Competition and alternatives

Square Online is a committed eCommerce that allows you to sell online with your loose plan.

Weebly is also a wonderful choice for Wix. While it lacks some of the features you get with Wix, it provides everything you need to create a wonderful and is undeniable to use.

You can see our full Wix and Weebly comparison in our Wix vs Weebly study.

Finally, if you need to attach a traditional domain, HubSpot is one of the few free developers that allows you to do so.

Verdict

Overall, Wix is still a wonderful online page builder. The templates are wonderful, we enjoyed the intuitive editor and it’s available really useful, even with the simple plan.

A sturdy blog feature rounds it out well, and you get a very high-quality offer with this builder.

Our opinion:

HubSpot might be best known for its CRM and marketing tools, but the logo also has a flexible and resilient builder that’s worth considering.

Characteristics

HubSpot’s online page builder aims to simplify the experience for business owners, without the need to know how to code. HubSpot also handles hosting, so you don’t have to worry about the backend. It’s all done by dragging and dropping, so you can know exactly where things are going. We were able to use a bunch of themes and templates and customize them with our own logo, typography, and content.

We connected our online page to HubSpot CRM from the start, which makes tracking our visitors’ interactions incredibly simple. We also use HubSpot’s free chatbots, forms, and live chat to automate our visitor service. We create email newsletters, a corporate logo, and a landing page, all from our HubSpot account.

You also get security features like SSL and two-factor authentication. HubSpot allows you to check out just about anything with its “free forever” plan, although there are some limitations.

The CRM giants also have an impressive app store, with over 1000 more integrations available. You can make your site bigger with search engine optimization tools, emails, ads, email integrations, and more.

Limits

You want to acquire their CMS Suite Starter plan for $20 per month to remove the brand. The Professional plan is priced at $360 per month, which is a big jump.

Just keep in mind that while some built-in features are reserved for express plans, that doesn’t mean you can’t access similar features at lower plan tiers. For example, HubSpot’s search engine optimization analytics are only included in the Professional plan. But you can still access search engine optimization analytics with the Free and Starter plans if you integrate a Google Search Console or Schema account with HubSpot.

HubSpot visitor support includes email, chat, and phone help; Some of the help is only available for premium plans. But if you need quick answers, you can search HubSpot’s extensive blog and resource center with thousands of articles and instructions.

Competition and alternatives

HubSpot’s online page builder is more productive and suitable for those who use (or need to use) other HubSpot equipment, such as their CRM. If you’re looking for a standalone online page builder with more flexibility, Wix is worth considering.

Our opinion:

Weebly’s free builder plan is a worthy Wix competitor, and unlike most of the other sites on this list, it will allow you to sell online.

The popular editor gives you more fine-grained control over your site’s design (though not as much as the most productive competitor), but it’s still undeniable to use. We were amazed by the tons of modern templates, and yes, they’re awesome. – that we were able to adapt to our wishes using a WYSIWYG editor.

Weebly gets top marks for its complex tools. We were able to expand our site with all kinds of content types through its powerful editor. Weebly is wonderful for online stores, providing fundamental eCommerce features, unlimited items, and stock control on the loose plan—anything. You may not find the loosest online page building plans.

Limits

As always with a free online page builder, Weebly didn’t allow us to use our own domain. Instead, you’re presented with a free Weebly subdomain (votrenom. weebly. com). It’s short, but not professional, and it’s not a clever concept for a serious business or site.

The flexible plan also limits your live chat and a network forum (the phone is only for some premium plans). This can be challenging if your online page isn’t working and you’re looking for PromptArray, but it’s even better. as well as some free services, which do not come with any assistance.

Competition and alternatives

With its AI builder, Wix’s offering is a bit more complex (although it doesn’t allow you to sell online unless you upgrade to a paid plan).

Like most other users on this list, Weebly’s bandwidth and storage are limited (up to 500MB). If that’s a challenge for you, you can opt for Webflow, which offers unlimited storage and 1GB of more generous bandwidth on its free plan. .

Do you want to attach a traditional domain for free? HubSpot is your go-to.

Verdict

Weebly is a wonderful choice for small businesses. Not only does it offer a wonderful flexible plan, but as your business grows and you want to get more out of your Array, Weebly’s paid plans are also incredibly affordable. Overall, its strength and flexibility make Weebly a smart flexible builder to consider.

Read our full Weebly review.

If you need to keep things simple, Weebly is a great option to consider. This builder is the best choice for small businesses with limited time and budget. One of the huge benefits of Weebly’s free plan is the ability to sell online, which is rare among its competitors. Of course, transaction fees apply. ★★★

Our opinion:

Webflow is a popular internet site builder that excels at customizing its design, especially for those with savvy knowledge in internet design.

Characteristics

Webflow’s interface is in the “box template” and requires fundamental knowledge of HTML and CSS for maximum use.

You can choose from more than 49 loose templates available on the platform. However, you can’t replace your site’s template once you’ve decided on it. The only way to do that is to create a new online page from scratch.

Webflow offers automatic backups and free SSL certification to ensure your site is secure. During setup, Webflow allows you to create a basic site with 2 pages, 50 CMS tools, localization, and up to 50 form submissions. It even offers 1 GB. de bandwidth and up to a thousand visitors with its loose plan. Basically, it provides everything you want to create a loose plan without facing any bottlenecks.

Limits

When creating a site, we found Webflow’s interface to be quite complex and misleading compared to other features like Wix or Site123. Unsurprisingly, Webflow doesn’t offer any traditional domain names or CMS help on its free plan. This means that if you create a free website, you should stick to an Arraywebflow subdomain.

Competition and alternatives

If you have little to no coding wisdom (or need to be educated), Webflow is probably the most productive solution for you. Fortunately, there are many easier and decent alternatives, including Wix and Weebly, either of which are known for providing an easy-to-use interface.

Verdict

In general, if you need to create something basic without having any knowledge when it comes to creating or designing email messages, Webflow may not be the most productive option for you. However, if you need a super traditional site that comes with exclusive designs and detailed features. , this platform can stand out as a strong contender on this list.

Those with design knowledge and skills would possibly be frustrated by the design limitations of most of the free website developers on this list. Weflow offers a more flexible alternative, offering those who are familiar with HTML and CSS a platform that is more suitable. This flexibility makes Webflow a smart choice for freelancers and agencies; Internet site professionals will definitely need to opt for a paid plan to unlock traditional domain names and more pages; the free plan is a smart first step in understanding if Webflow is correct. For you. .   ★★★★1/2

Our opinion:

Site123 is an undeniable, ultra-undeniable online page builder that allows even an amateur to create a new online page with the logo on their own, making it ideal for those who quickly launch a partner marketing site.

Characteristics

When you sign up for the platform, the builder asks you for fundamental data related to your site, and within a few moments, your first online page design is ready. Surprisingly, we found that the initial design was quite clever. Even the photographs were clever and suitable for the niche of the online page.

Site123 offers a very clear and easy-to-use editor. Users can seamlessly click on any detail and edit it, even if their functions for doing so are limited.

Ultimately, Site123’s flexible plan is super undeniable, which can be a blessing or a curse, depending on your goals. It’s ideal for those who need an undeniable platform to advertise associated content, but don’t need to worry about a complex building process.

Limits

It doesn’t have many features of tradition with Site123’s loose plan. This means that you can only get your hands on the entire editing equipment of your online page by subscribing to their paid plans. In fact, small changes, such as traditional color schemes or access to Full Font Library, also require a paid plan to work. This limits your talent for creating a detailed or exclusive online page for your use.

Site123 also doesn’t offer traditional domain names with its flexible plan and has to make do with a fairly long subdomain. This can make your site look unprofessional.

Competition and alternatives

Verdict

Overall, Site123’s free plan is a great option for those who just need to create an undeniable online page and don’t have experience or wisdom when it comes to creating online pages. Thanks to its user-friendly interface, creating an online page is as undeniable as it is with this platform.

Creating a site with Site123 is as simple as 1, 2, 3. This makes it an ideal choice for those who create a site temporarily and start making money through associated marketing. Choosing this option will allow you to set up and release your online page in record time, allowing you to focus on getting the most productive partner offers, reaching new audiences, and optimizing your content for profit.    ★★★

Our opinion:

Square Online offers a powerful online page builder built for eCommerce. Rather than approaching eCommerce as an extra, everything about the Square experience relies on advanced eCommerce features that you probably won’t find in generic developers. Of course, others, like Shopify and BigCommerce, are designed for eCommerce, but none of those platforms offer a flexible plan.

Characteristics

Square Online offers much more than just an internet presence. The service includes point-of-sale equipment to promote face-to-face, on social media, and via mobile devices. All the same platform.

To get started, open an account, your business’s main points, and store name, and then decide on the design and design elements you want. You can traditionalize all the elements, add colors and fonts, and then decide your ordering process. The selection of traditional pieces are great and we love that you can choose an order format. You can do this from an online restaurant taste menu or a traditional online store. Both models offer the ability to attach parts to POS, as well as more complex stock and equipment control. if you upgrade to a paid plan.

Limits

The flexible plan is, unsurprisingly, limited. But it does have some wonderful features to look out for, such as the ability to sell through social media, built-in search engine optimization tools, and the ability to settle for multiple payment types. The online processing fee for online sales is 2. 9% $0. 30.

Competition and alternatives

If you don’t need complex eCommerce features, Weebly (owner of Square Online) is a wonderful alternative.   Most other platforms don’t allow you to sell online with a flexible plan.

Verdict

If you’re starting an online store, but don’t need to invest in a paid platform right away, Square Online is your most productive option. Not only does it allow you to create an online store for free, but it also gives you the opportunity to try out one of the most productive eCommerce platforms on the market.

Square is one of the only committed eCommerce developers that also offers a free plan. Owned by the same company as Weebly, it comes with many of the same features as the free plan, such as 500MB of storage, up to 500MB of bandwidth, and the ability to sell online. Unlike Weebly, it also comes with many complex eCommerce features, making it the best selection for engaged online stores. 1 ★★★/2

Google Sites is an undisputed and easy-to-use site builder brought to you through Google, making it ideal for academics and beginners looking to create an undeniable online presence. While it lacks complex features and search engine optimization tools, it’s a wonderful option for those who need to set up a foundational site in no time.

Characteristics

Google Sites provides an intuitive and easy-to-use platform for creating online pages. It comes with a handful of templates and themes from online pages (18 themes and 6 templates at the time of writing), allowing you to traditionalize the look. of your site. Although the tradition features are very limited compared to the developers of sites like Webflow or WordPress, Google Sites still offers enough flexibility for academics to create a traditional online page.

One of the most notable features of Google Sites is its seamless integration with other Google services, adding Google Workspace tools. You can seamlessly embed content from Google Drive, YouTube, Calendar, Maps, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, and Charts directly into your site. This undeniable integration complements the capability of Google Sites and allows you to integrate multimedia elements into your site without much effort, making it ideal for organizing and presenting student projects.

Also, as a Google product, Google Sites provides a secure online page building experience. By taking advantage of your Google account security features, such as two-step verification, you can make your site safer for you and your visitors.

Limits

While Google Sites offers an easy-to-use experience, there are some limitations that are worth considering. For starters, unless you’re a Google Workspace user, you can only publish sites to a “sites. google. com” domain, which may not give you the professional look you want. So, if you want to invest more in your website’s branding, you want to purchase the Google Workspace suite.

Additionally, Google Sites rarely has as many features as other online page developers like Wix, so it may lack complex features, especially for those who build eCommerce sites. It offers limited storage space for occasional users (100 MB per site). which may not be enough if you need to download gigantic amounts of media content.

Competition and alternatives

In the competitive landscape of free creators, Google Sites faces fierce competition like Wix and Webflow.

Webflow stands out for its complex customization capabilities, which allow you to create highly personalized websites. However, mastering its complex functions entails a steep curve.

On the other hand, Wix offers a physically powerful feature set, which allows users to create sites with impressive features. However, Wix lacks the flexibility to transfer models seamlessly, forcing users to start over. In contrast, Google Sites allows templates to be edited without sacrificing existing content, it lacks complex features like search engine optimization tools, a domain where Wix excels.

Verdict

While Google Sites is a solid choice for academics and beginners, those who require extensive customization or complex features may find it insufficient. However, its simplicity, integration with other Google services, and collaborative features make it a solid choice for a quick and undeniable solution. creation.

When it comes to creating a website, things are much easier than with Google Sites. For some, this is very positive, for others, their limitations are frustrating. One of the main benefits of Google Sites is the ability to integrate seamlessly with other Google websites. platforms such as Sheets, Docs, and Slides. This makes it ideal for academics and sports groups looking for a central location to organize and demonstrate projects and information.

Our opinion:

WordPress is best known for its free CMS that can be installed on virtually any hosting plan.

Characteristics

WordPress is an incredibly flexible creation tool that allows you to create blogs, business sites, online stores, and just about anything else you can imagine.

It’s a great solution for not easy or professional sites, but you’ll probably have to pay some money for hosting, and the full WordPress interface can be tricky, even for experienced users.

Fortunately, there is a simpler hosted edition of WordPress at WordPress. com (yes, we know it’s confusing). This includes internet hosting, so signing up gives you everything you need to spice up your internet presence. templates from and we were able to create a blog, a photography site and much more.

The flexible plan allows you to pay product bills, and if you can create engaging content, there’s even the option to subscribe to paid subscribers.

Limits

Keep in mind that while WordPress allows you to pay bills online, it also requires 10% of the transaction. If you want to make real money, it might be worth signing up for a paid plan (the $25 per month is monthly). It doesn’t charge any fees. )

Opting for WordPress. com hosted instead of WordPress. org self-hosted limits the number of plugins and templates you can access.

Competition and alternatives

WordPress can be a bit more complicated to navigate than some of the other online page developers on this list. If you need simple use, an easy-to-use builder like Wix or Weebly.

With a mind-boggling 10% payment for transactions with the flexible plan, if you’re making plans to sell online, but want a flexible plan, Square Online is probably a better option.

Verdict

Whether you’re creating a static site or a blog-style site with up-to-date content, in our opinion, the online editor is a joy to use and allows almost anyone to create a stunning, professional-looking site. The only problem is the limited diversity of plugins and templates compared to the self-hosted edition of WordPress and other free online page builders.

With over 40% of all websites based on WordPress, it has to be on our list of the most productive free website builders. While the free website creation aspect of WordPress has been criticized for its clunky design and interface, it has taken a step forward more recently and makes it less difficult to create your online page on the world’s largest CMS. ★★★

Our opinion:

Jimdo has been used to create more than 25 million since 2007 and its simplicity has won a lot of praise. Another highlight is its appearance, with a variety of stylish and flexible models on offer.

Characteristics

Jimdo’s sleek and modern templates make it a popular online page builder for creatives like designers and photographers, or even those who need to flaunt their portfolio with an amazing online page.

The platform even comes with its own logo designer to help you make your logo recognizable. While testing Jimdo’s free service, we were able to enter our business and decide on a starting point for our logo design. Then we customize our icon and design, a color and font, and that’s it!

Another useful design feature that Jimdo users will appreciate is how the website’s colors fit in with an uploaded logo or image. This means that flashy color conflicts are a thing of the afterlife; This is ideal for corporations where aesthetics are part of the brand.

In addition, Jimdo provides many tips and materials to help you create the right online page for you. This includes examples of the best photography sites built with the platform, as well as tips for creating a successful site.

Limits

Jimdo offers a flexible plan, but supports a Jimdo subdomain (youname. jimdosite. com) and inserts classified ads on its pages. Some Jimdo users have complained about the lack of complicated features.

Also, if you’re looking for something on your site, you might not get it with Jimdo’s free plan.

Competition and alternatives

If you need more features, Wix’s free plan will give you what you’re looking for. Wix also offers a moderate point on its free plan, which is missing from Jimdo’s plan.

Verdict

If you need a quick and easy way to publish a wonderful site, Jimdo is a wonderful option.

Artists, musicians, and other creatives looking to temporarily identify an online presence without spending a dime can’t get along with Jimdo. This online page builder is known for being easy to use, while also offering amazing design features, which help you develop your skill in a way.   ★★1/2

Our opinion:

Surprisingly, it’s uncommon when it qualifies as one of the most productive online page building platforms because it focuses on designing mobile-optimized, single-page online pages. Before you know that a “one-page” site is rarely very suitable for you, it’s not that restrictive. as you might think.

Characteristics

Surprisingly, Strikingly allows us to upload symbol galleries, a blog, traditional forms, and even an undeniable online store (no transaction fees). There are also a number of other useful features, such as adding responsive templates, social media integration, password protection, and much more.

The free plan comes with impressive features, such as unlimited free sites, 24/7 support, and the ability to invite collaborators. With Strikingly, you can seamlessly create an engaging and functional blog. Plus, you can set everything up in just a few minutes.

Limitation

Like the free max plans, it has its limitations. These come with the use of one Strikingly. com domain, 5 GB/month of bandwidth, 500 MB of total storage, up to five pages per site, and one product per site.

Competition and alternatives

We found that the Strikingly online page builder is just as resilient and customizable as its competitors like Wix, Weebly, or HubSpot. These opportunities are worth considering if you need a feature-rich multi-page online page.

Verdict

If simplicity is key and you’re looking for a single-page website, upload Strikingly to your shortlist.

Single-page sites don’t work for everyone. However, those looking to create an online page that will make a big impact without complex design or endless content to create, modify, and manage should take Strikingly seriously into consideration. This option is ideal for those looking to create high-value pages as part of a larger marketing campaign, or simply for those who just need to say the absolutely essential information. 1 ★★★/ 2

Wix stands out thanks to its easy-to-use design AI mode and powerful editing tools, making it the right selection for experts and beginners alike. . Despite some flaws like limited garage and on-page ads, its quality templates and uncluttered interface make it a solid builder.

However, with eye-catching templates, an easy-to-use and useful editor, Wix Array is still the most sensible choice for budget site creation.

Wix, Weebly, and WordPress are all online page builder providers that offer their option for free (in addition to a subdomain). Wix offers totally free plans and paid plans.

We recommend comparing the benefits of each and comparing their features to determine if a free online page builder is the ideal solution for your needs.

Yes, there are a handful of free website hosting facilities available. However, it’s important to note that free plans come with some restrictions. Things like visitor support, garage space, bandwidth, and other perks, such as free domain names, are often limited. in free plans. Despite those limitations, free hosting can still be a great option for private sites, blogs, test projects, and startups.

If you’re looking for the most productive free hosting, InfinityFree, GoogieHost, and Freehost are worth considering. InfinityFree stands out as a high-quality web hosting service that is absolutely free. It provides five GB of disk space, unlimited bandwidth, and the ability to create 3 separate accounts with an unlimited number of subdomains on each of them.

GoogieHost, on the other hand, offers 1,000 MB of storage and domain extensions like “. c1. is” and “. whf. bz”. However, one problem is that it takes about 24 hours to activate after registering an account.

Meanwhile, Freehostia excels at providing pre-installed WordPress, ensuring quick activation upon registration. For those who enjoy using WordPress to manage their sites, this feature makes their lives a lot easier.

Yes, but finding one that allows you to attach a traditional domain can be tricky. While many online page developers like Wix or Weebly offer free plans, if you want to use their traditional domain, you’ll need to upgrade to their premium plan, which can be a bit pricey.
