MINSK, Oct 19 (BelTA) — Belarusian food company Belgospishcheprom held a business meeting at which it presented Belarus’ export potential, BelTA reported.
The occasion brought together seven heads of diplomatic missions and 37 representatives of the diplomatic corps from 27 countries. They had to interact directly with brands on vital procurement issues. Eight corporations organized a tasting for the guests.
“The fear initiated an assembly with industry representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Belarus. The assembly aimed to highlight the company’s export prospects and better understand the situation in our export markets, assess the demand for our products in other markets and where it can strengthen our presence,” said Belgospishcheprom Corporate Chairman Oleg Zhidkov.
In turn, the head of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov noted that such assemblies are held regularly. “Recently, we organized the Day of Business Advisors in Brest Oblast. Our vision of more paintings with the diplomatic corps is to demonstrate the functions of industries,” said the chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
According to him, such meetings bear fruit. In particular, when country representatives come to such occasions, they have the opportunity to flavor the products. “Today’s occasion is attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps from almost each and every continent. We hope they can pass on their impressions and feedback on our products to their consumers,” he added.
