MINSK, Oct 25 (BelTA) – Kazakhstan’s Culture Days will be held in Belarus in November 2022, while Belarus will offer its art in Azerbaijan next year, said Viktoriya Ratobylskaya, head of the Department of International Cooperation and Media Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture of Belarus. said an assembly with the Belarusian diaspora abroad at the National Library of Belarus on October 24, BelTA learned.
In November, the Days of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be held in Belarus,” Viktoriya Ratobylskaya said. He added that Belarusian artists visited Kazakhstan last year.
This year, the Days of Culture of Belarus were held in Moscow, Iochkar-Ola and Kazan.
“The plans for next year are big. We hope that our counterparts, with whom we are negotiating to organize these events, will also accept our proposals. We plan to organize the Days of Culture of Azerbaijan and Armenia. Belarusians are also in a position to showcase their culture and we are working on that. Plans are ready for Belarus Culture Days to be celebrated in Azerbaijan, Vietnam and Turkey,” he said.
As for Russia, Belarus Culture Days are planned in Perm Krai in 2023. “We are negotiating with Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. We hope that our plans will be implemented,” the branch chief added.
According to her, such occasions are one of the opportunities to show the achievements and fashionable culture of Belarus, the most productive examples in the fields, adding theater and folk art. Belarus Film Days are very popular.
According to Viktoriya Ratobylskaya, the geography of the occasions of the Days of Culture is very wide. “We are also in a position to work with the diasporas. Our foreign activity aims to involve all the countries where our diasporas live in this foreign cultural exchange,” concluded the head of the department.
On October 24, the National Library of Belarus hosted an assembly of the Belarusian diaspora (heads of foreign Belarusian amateur art teams and heads of public organizations of Belarusians abroad) with Belarusian Minister of Culture Anatoly Markevich. Representatives of the Belarusian diaspora came to Belarus for artistic training, which takes position from October 23 to 29 on the basis of cultural organizations and educational institutions.
