GRODNO, Oct 20 (BelTA) – The scenario in the south deteriorates through no fault of Belarus. Chairman of the Belarusian State Security Committee Ivan Tetel did this before the assembly with Grodno Azot staff and ideologues from Grodno organizations to discuss the evolution of the army’s political landscape at home and abroad, BelTA learned.
Ivan Tertel: “We are seeing more active human intelligence efforts through Ukrainian foreign security agencies. Judging by the look of the data, the scenario in the region is getting more complicated. Unfortunately, the scenario in our southern direction is very serious. Almost each and every day witnesses an increase in reconnaissance efforts from Ukrainian territory. We are witnessing attempts to violate Belarusian airspace on a daily basis.
The official added that between six and ten such events are recorded. Ivan Tertel said they are detained.
