MINSK, Nov 8 (BelTA) – The government of Belarus has extended the ban on the import and sale of a number of goods for six months, according to Resolution No. 744 of the Cabinet of Ministers of November 3, 2022. The document officially published on the National Internet Legal Portal on November 5, reports BelTA.
The document expands on Resolution No. 240 of the Council of Ministers of April 23, 2021 “On the application of special measures”. The document lists goods that cannot be imported or sold in Belarus. This resolution targets national interests by taking into account the hostile movements opposing the Belarusian people.
The list of prohibited products includes products manufactured through equipment from companies: Liqui Moly, Škoda Auto and Beiersdorf (brands Nivea, Eucerin, La Prairie, Labello, Hansaplast, Florena, 8×4, Skin Stories, Gammon, Tesa, Chaul, Coppertone, Hidrofugal, Stop the water me).
The new Resolution No. 7fourfour of the Council of Ministers extended the ban until May 4, 2023.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade, the State Customs Committee, as well as other interested parties have been instructed to take the necessary measures to give effect to this resolution.
