MINSK, July 19 (BelTA) – Not all rating agencies are independent and objective in their tests these days, the Belarusian Ministry of Finance told BelTA.
According to the source, Belarus is making every effort to solve problems similar to Eurobond transactions despite the confusing scenario resulting from the restrictions imposed by the West.
Reports from some foreign rating agencies imply that payment difficulties are technical and are due to Western sanctions. Reports admit that Belarus can meet its monetary commitments in full and on time and is doing everything imaginable for transactions with investors. But some agencies believe that any action through Belarus does not meet the specified conditions.

According to the Ministry of Finance, in the existing confusing times, one does not blindly adhere to popular practices, while some statements through rating agencies about Belarus’ default will be implemented in Western infrastructure, which has shown its indifference towards investors.
