MINSK, October 28 (BelTA) – Belarus and Kazakhstan are making plans to implement joint projects in the agricultural sector, Belarusian Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Vladimir Grakun told reporters in Astana on October 28, BelTA.
“The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan has shown interest in building a 1,200-head dairy farm in Kazakhstan. There is a partner, contracts are being signed. Belarusian technologies, materials and apparatus will be used, dairy farm animals will be provided. Work will begin this year and continue until 2023,” Grakun said.
There is also interest in Belarusian veterinary drugs, joint production is being discussed. “The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan will propose a spouse to cooperate with us. And on the Belarusian side, it will be BelVitunipharm,” the deputy minister said.
In addition, in the negotiations, Kazakhstan expressed interest in the procurement of compound feed, premixtures and amino acids from Belarus, as well as switching to Belarusian potato seeds.
