“Bangladesh asks for more knowledge about India’s floods in Ganga, Brahmaputra, Barak”

According to a report by Jal Shakti’s ministry, India and Bangladesh share 54 rivers, seven of which were previously known to expand a framework of water-sharing agreements as a priority. During the meeting, it was agreed to expand this domain of ongoing cooperation to come with 8 additional rivers for data exchange. The factor will be further discussed in the JRC Technical Committee.
