Most of the products created for Eastern European consumers are manufactured at the group’s continental European sites, but the development of demand for its portfolio of flapjacks and brownies produced in Bradford may lead to an acceleration of production in the UK.

Innovation opportunities
The new construction will also feature a showroom with a small bakery workshop that will offer opportunities for visitor meetings and tastings. The launch of the Polish center marks the newest step in Baker’s growth abroad.
Meanwhile, a steady group of Welsh cheese producers and farmers are expected to increase production from 16,000 tonnes annually to 23,000 tonnes by 2024, creating 30 new jobs.
