Cairo: A Bahraini teenager with COVID-19 has transmitted the highly infectious disease to seven other people from 3 other families, Akhbar Al Khaleej reported Friday.
It showed that the 15-year-old had contracted the disease after his symptoms appeared and tested positive.
A follow-up mechanism used through the Ministry of Health revealed that it had transmitted the virus to five other people who came into direct contact with it, adding his mother, daughter and brotherly aunts. It also caused an infection to hit two others through one of her aunts, according to the report. We didn’t know how the kid hit the virus.
The Bahraini government has called for compliance with antivirus precautions, adding social estrangement regulations and mandatory use of protective mask in public places.
Bahrain’s Ministry of Health announced on Friday two more deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 158.
The most recent deaths were those of an 84-year-old Bahraini and a 53-year-old expat.
To date, 42,889 viruses have been reported in Bahrain.
