Bahrain reports drop in COVID-19 infections

Dubai: The number of new coronavirus infections announced today in Bahrain has been particularly reduced from the figures announced in the last two weeks.

After several days with at least six hundred new cases, the Ministry of Health announced 540 new contagions after conducting 9,273 new tests.

These included 109 expatriate case contacts and 424 active cases, with seven travel-related cases.

There were also 651 additional recoveries, bringing total downloads to 57,950. As a result, the number of active instances increased to 6,868, of which 146 were treated, 52 of which were critical. A new death similar to the reported virus, which led to the death toll to 222.
