Dubai: Bahrain’s Ministry of Health has announced the detection of 462 new COVID-19 instances in foreign workers, contacts and some arrivals in the island kingdom.
The most recent cases were known after the fitness administration conducted more than 10767 tests yesterday.
Health officials said 226 expatriate employees had been detected with the virus in the more than 24 hours, 225 had become inflamed through local contacts and 11 were travel-related.
The Ministry of Health showed that 414 patients have recovered from a coronavirus, bringing the total number of cures in the country to 34,826 to date.
The latest update that there are currently 80 cases of COVID-19 being treated, 48 of which are in critical condition. More than 3,448 instances are strong out of a total of 3,496 active instances. The total number of recovered instances released is 34,826.
Bahrain conducted more than 771,500 tests. Two men died, a 66-year-old Bahraini man and a 61-year-old expatriate, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths to 136.
