The Kingdom of Bahrain expresses its fear and deep remorse for the armed clashes in Tripoli, which threaten the protection and security of Libyan citizens and expose the country to great danger, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Kingdom of Bahrain calls on the Libyan parties to halt armed clashes, avoid bloodshed and further escalation.
It also calls for a continuous political debate on the differences between the two parties to the conflict, measures to safeguard Libyan interests and realize the aspirations for peace and prosperity of its brotherly people.
The Kingdom also reiterates its position towards Libya in a way that preserves its sovereignty, security and stability.
