The scope of the contract includes the provision of a feasibility for the use of the emergency runway at Bahrain International Airport
Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) has won seven tenders inviting experts to provide feasibility for the use of the emergency runway at Bahrain International Airport (BIA).
The Request for Proposals (RFP) issued on December 26, 2021 with a deadline for submission on February 9, 2022.
The lowest bid of 72,380 Bahraini dinars ($192,030. 65) was submitted through local company Dheya Tawfiqi Engineering Consultancy Bureau, while French company Egis submitted the highest bid of 205,150 dinars ($544, $281), according to the report published on the Tender Board website.
The other bidders were TO70 in the Netherlands ($263,348); LFV Aviation Consulting in Sweden ($261,859. 98); Raith Engineering and Manufacturing Company of Kuwait ($409,854); Established engineering company Khatib
In January 2022, Zawya Projects reported that the allocation will end until the first quarter of 2024.
