Cairo: A Bahraini court sentenced an inflamed guy to the new coronavirus for intentionally transmitting the infection to doctors and sentenced him to 3 years in prison.
The juvenile offender court ordered the unidentified convict to pay a fine of 1,000 Bahraini dinars, said the head of the prosecutor’s office, Adnan Al Wadai.
The case began when the Public Health Directorate reported that a man had come to a gym to re-test COVID-19 after giving positives earlier.
During the process, he intentionally removed his mask and sneezed in front of the doctors running through the center. He also sneezed on his hands and then touched the doctors in an attempt to transmit the virus to them.
Prosecutors had questioned the guy and ordered him sent back until he tried.
In recent weeks, the Bahraini government has intensified its crackdown on virus rapists in an effort to involve the pandemic.
