First, the news: The Philippines now has 143749 cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on Wednesday, the Ministry of Health (DoH) said.

Recoveries are now 68,997,636 new survivors. Those who died increased to 2404 after the Department of Health added 94 to the count.

At the same time, the Chinese Embassy said approval of the drug Lian Qua Hing Wen through the Chinese classic drug manufacturer Shijiazhuang Yiling Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. is a vital step in the access of Chinese classical medicine products to the Philippine market.

Lian Qua Hing Wen has reportedly been approved as a Vovid-19 remedy for mild and moderate cases in China, and has also obtained approvals in Hong Kong, Macau, Brazil, Indonesia, Canada, Mozambique, Romania, Thailand, Ecuador, Singapore and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
In May, the FDA issued an ice to the public about the acquisition and ownership of the drug, which at the time did obtain a certificate of registration of the product.
