Dubai Atlantis’ five-star resort, The Palm, will offer loose Covd-19 PCR tests on its premises, including consumers arriving through foreign bookings through December 18, 2020.

Atlantis has partnered with Dubai’s Al Zahra Hospital to conduct these tests within the station, the effects of which will take effect within 24 hours of testing.

“We are continually evolving to satisfy the desires of our consumers in these difficult times.By using our on-site medical center, new PCR tests will help reduce travel inconveniences and inspire more foreign travelers to make a stopover at Dubai’s top entertainment destination,” Timothy Kelly said., Executive Vice President and CEO of Atlantis Dubai.

Speaking about this new development, Timothy Kelly, executive vice president and general manager of Atlantis Dubai, said: “We are continually evolving to satisfy the wishes of our consumers at this difficult time.Using our on-site medical center, PCR’s new tests assist reduces travel inconveniences and inspires more foreign travelers to make a stopover at Dubai’s premier entertainment destination.”

He added: “The most recent initiative also aligns with Emirates Airlines’ flexible medical policy for Covid-19-related expenses, designed to build people’s confidence to travel during the pandemic.”

In July, the Emirates airline, bound for Dubai, was the first airline to offer a flexible policy for Covid-19-related medical and quarantine expenses for passengers travelling to and from the United Arab Emirates.

Emirates consumers can claim medical expenses of up to EUR 150,000 and a quarantine payment of EUR 10 per day for 14 days if they are diagnosed with Covid-19 on their journey, when they are away from home.

All consumers must have Covid-19-like medical and quarantine expense coverage, regardless of their elegance or destination.

The airline stated that the policy remained valid for 31 days from the time consumers made the first leg of their journey, and this Emirates initiative is valid for consumers whose first flight takes place on or before 31 October.

Similarly, on 1 September, the Dubai-based airline flydubai also showed that passengers booking flights between 1 September and 30 November 2020 will get a flexible policy for Covid-19.

The service allows passengers to obtain benefits from the policy for their medical expenses up to 150,000 euros and quarantine prices of up to 100 euros per day for 14 days.
