Atlantic Nickel invests $335 million in Brazil

Atlantic Nickel, a subsidized mining company through the British Personal Equity Fund Appian, will invest $335 million from 2026 to build an underground nickel sulfide mine in Brazil’s Bahia state, the company announced Monday.

This investment focuses on the emerging electric battery market and is expected to consolidate Atlantic Nickel as one of the world’s largest suppliers of nickel sulfide.
