Astana Media Week 2022 kicks off in the Kazakh capital

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Astana Media Week 2022 started in the Kazakh capital. More than 150 local and foreign speakers are expected to participate, reports Kazinform’s correspondent.

The occasion started with the Content Market exhibition, which was attended through national and regional TV channels and more than 50 producers.

The Minister of Information and Social Development, Darkhan Kydyrali, visited the Content Market exhibition.

Astana Media Week is an annual occasion in the field of media and journalism, combining Kazakhstan’s state, independent, professional and new media, with the aim of promoting the local media industry and selling business relationships there.

For the sixth year, branch managers and foreign experts, industry influencers and visionaries have gathered on the country’s leading media communication platform to discuss existing issues, network, provide concepts for the upcoming media year, and navigate long-term trends.

On October 27, representatives of Kazakhstan’s media sector will gather at the Kazmedia Center to discuss media trends, disruptions and further progress in the regions at the Regional Media Forum.

On October 28, a rite of delivery of the press officer will be held.

The occasion will conclude with a classic Urker Prize rite for achievements in print, radio and the internet.
