An Asda affected by an outbreak of coronavirus has been accused through consumers of leaving the store ‘crowded’ and allowing others to enter without a face mask.
Eight workers from the Smethwick hypermarket near Birmingham have tested positive for the fatal virus.
Asda closed the site for a ”full blank” after the instances shown and said those who tested positive now self- automated.

But today, locals claimed that the supermarket was “crowded,” and some shoppers refused to wear hats.
One visitor wrote on Facebook: ‘Asda introduces a separate access and exit.
“The store is over-the-back [with] shoppers who adhere to the rules of dressing up in a mask.”
At one point the client wrote: “I agree. It’s not well controlled,” while a third added: “They were very smart at the beginning of the epidemic, but I think they’ll have to be exhausted by the anarchic habit of some of their clientele.
Despite the outbreak, today it remained open and buyers were noticed disinfecting their hands and carts.
Asda said the threat to the public is “low.”
