EREVAN, JULY 14, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan won the position of Country Director for Armenia of the Asian Development Bank, Paolo Spantigati, on July 13, the press service said.
The assembly took a position in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Kristine Ghalechyan.
During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Matevosyan highlighted the continuation provided through the Asian Development Bank to Armenia, especially in the context of the ongoing reform schedule in Armenia.
He also highly valued the AfDB’s commitment to finance infrastructure projects in Armenia, especially road structure projects, such as the North-South Road Corridor investment systems and Sustainable Urban Development.
For his part, Paolo Spantigati thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for the assembly and described the cooperation with the Armenians as effective.
The meeting also discussed the prospects for new cooperation.
