MINSK, Oct 20 (BelTA) — Belarus regards the Armenian computer service provider as a spouse in the installation of an electronic fitness system, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said in his meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan on October 20, BelTA learned.
“We have very attractive cooperation in the field of data technology. We are pleased to see how Armenia’s IT sector is developing. I can say that we see Armenia’s IT service provider as a partner for the implementation of our national eHealth system. “We have studied the paintings of its operator and would like to emphasize that it has a very high technological and organizational level,” Roman Golovchenko said.
In 2021, the industry between Belarus and Armenia amounted to 97. 2 million dollars, 18. 1% more than in 2020. Exports reached 68. 4 million dollars, up 18. 9%. Belarus had an industrial surplus of $39. 4 million. Last year, Belarus’ main exports were milk and cream, defense and security products, furniture, medicines, electrical transformers, computers for automatic knowledge processing, wires and cables, fiberboard, paper and cardboard, aluminum bars and profiles. Armenia’s imports included beverages, defense and security products, copper scrap and scrap, hygiene items, toys and puzzles.
In January-August 2022, the bilateral industry amounted to $105. 7 million (5. 7% more than at the same time last year). Exports accounted for $69. 2 million (an increase of 82. 5%). The industry surplus reached $32. 6 million.
The commodity distribution network of Belarusian companies in Armenia includes 4 Belarusian-owned corporations and more than 80 intermediary network entities. There are 39 Armenian-owned corporations in Belarus, ten joint ventures.
