YEREVAN, JULY 8, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s Deputy Defense Minister Gabriel Balayan has become inflamed with the new coronavirus (COVID-19), the chairman of the Standing Parliamentary Committee on Defence and Security Affairs, Andranik Kocharyan, said at the commission’s session.
“Today, Deputy Defense Minister Gabriel Balayan will also attend the session, but he is ill. Let’s wish our colleague good health,” he said.
535 new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been registered in Armenia in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of samples to 29820, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention said today.
Another 520 patients have recovered. The total number of recoveries reached 17,427.
Another 18 people died in one day, bringing the death toll to 521.
The number of assets is 11,708.
