PanARMENIAN. Net – The coronavirus now has a reproduction rate of 1. 02 in Armenia, said on Thursday (September 17) Deputy Minister of Health Lena Nanushyan, noting that this rate predicts the immediate effect of the virus.
The reproduction rate is a key measure of the virus’s rate of expansion. This is the average number of other people inflamed by a contagious person.
The Deputy Minister of Health said the rate was less than 1 until several days ago, as evidenced by minimization in the number of new infections.
Nanushyan suggested that Armenians continue to comply with security rules, in a different way, said a sharp increase in the number of new cases in the country would be reported.
The number of coronavirus infections showed the highest number of coronavirus infections in Armenia from 295 to 46671 on Thursday. So far, 42231 more people have recovered, 925 have died of coronavirus in the country, while another 283 have died from other causes.
