As the demonstration against Netanyahu intensified, a few dozen supporters of the minister organized a counter-demonstration nearby.

Police have closed parts of two nearby roads due to protests, which took up position a day after officials clashed with demonstrators while cleaning an open-air anti-Netanyahu protest site, the prime minister’s residence.
Haskel, a former air force general whose arrest at last month at a rally broke in, said in a tweet that Monday’s expulsion from the protests was a “pogrom.”
Haskel’s arrest, along with two others, in late June made him one of the protest motions that opposes Netanyahu’s continued rule.
Protests have been held across the country, with demonstrators with symptoms of “Minister of Crime” and asking Netanyahu to resign.
Netanyahu faces charges of fraud and non-acceptance as true in 3 separate cases, as well as corruption in one of them.
He denied acting badly and said the fees were part of an effort through political opponents, the media, law enforcement and prosecutors who occupied him from office.
At the same time as the demonstration in Jerusalem, a lot of demonstrators piled up near Tel Aviv’s Rothschild Boulevard to mark the ninth anniversary of the 2011 social protests that rocked the country.
The demonstration follows a massive demonstration over the weekend that opposes the government’s handling of money with the effect of the coronavirus, with thousands of others meeting in Tel Aviv for a demonstration that later turned violent, while some protesters clashed with the police.
People from backgrounds and economics attended Saturday night’s event, adding hard-hit small business owners; self-employed and independent; members of the entertainment industry and the restaurant and hospitality industry; as well as college students.
There has been widespread anger from sectors of the economy whose members say the government is not doing enough to help them succeed in the crisis, accompanied by outrage at the alleged mismanagement of monetary aid and the bureaucratic complexities of getting help.
In addition to the Rothschild Boulevard rally, the Israeli Scout motion organized demonstrations in Tel Aviv and many crossroads across the country, protesting against the government’s resolve to cut the public budget for youth motions by a third.
