Anti-block protests erupt in London, Warsaw and other European cities as arrests for coronavirus persist

In Warsaw, Poland, police used tear fuel against protesters, while arrests made a demonstration in London’s Hyde Park.

Police in several German cities imposed estrangement regulations when thousands accumulated to express their anger at the fall of economies and perceived loss of freedom.

Stuttgart police said the number of protesters exceeded the allowed threshold of 5,000; led other protesters to open spaces. Police said they were applying a mask bonus at the risk of a fine of three hundred euros ($325).

The legal number of 1,000 protesters also arrived in Munich at the site of the now cancelled Oktoberfest beer festival. It is one of many meetings in the southern state of Bavaria.

Dozens of people, adding a senator, were arrested at a rally through business owners in the Polish capital, as opposed to restrictions on coronaviruses, while police used tear fuel against the protesters. Warsaw officials said the rally was illegal because they did not approve it.

In Britain, anti-blockade protesters and vaccines held a demonstration in Hyde Park, central London, and encountered a strong police presence.

Protesters chanted “Freedom” and held homemade posters. Some sat on the lawn and had picnics while observing social distance patterns, while others ignored regulations and accumulated in groups.

Officers tried to disperse the groups, threatening them with fines if they served. They arrested thirteen people, the London Metropolitan Police Service said.
