A total of 1,78,38,52,566 doses of vaccine (97. 34%) were administered without a fee at the government’s Covid Vaccination Centers (CVCs) through July 18, he said in a written response.
Covid vaccination in India: “As of July 18, around four million rupees of eligible beneficiaries have not even taken a single dose of the covid vaccine,” he said in response to a number and percentage of other people who have not even taken a single dose.
The “AMRIT Mahotsava COVID Vaccination” crusade aimed at boosting the absorption of preventive doses of Covid among the eligible population, is positioning itself from the government’s Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to celebrate the 75th anniversary of India’s independence.
According to Ministry of Health officials, 98% of India’s adult population received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 90% received the full vaccine.
