Angelina Jolie were all divorced co-parents in the middle of a pandemic, that is, she was definitely me, on the recent return of former Brad Pitt’s recent vacation abroad: she demanded that she be quarantined for 14 days before seeing her children again. And, honestly, who can blame him? Air travel in 2020 is pretty scary.
US Weekly reported Tuesday that after Pitt went on vacation to the south of France this summer with his new girlfriend, Germany’s Nicole Poturalski, “Angelina insisted that Brad quarantine him for 14 days after returning from France” before reuniting with his children and Jolie’s: Knox, Vivienne, Shiloh, Zahara, Pax and Maddox.
According to the US source, Jolie cited “an accumulation of COVID-19 cases in the country” as her reasoning, and rightly so, as France is experiencing a pandemic wave that far exceeds the first. “I didn’t need to do it, it threatens young people to make it,” the source added.
Pitt’s reaction to Jolie’s request?Instead of quarantine, he sought to do several COVID-19 tests “with days apart”, preferably to “shorten the quarantine period”. Hey, what? We’re not scientists, but we’re pretty sure that’s not the way the evidence for the paints of the new coronavirus.
Looks like Jolie wasn’t convinced either. She “didn’t have it,” she reports. Fortunately, Pitt accepted the two-week quarantine era (quite reasonable, sincerely) and has since met with his children.

For us, co-parents, noticed or not, in the midst of a pandemic or not, opting for our battles is the key to success, and whether one of those battles, for Angelina Jolie, requires 14 days 14 days Brad Pitt to ensure the health and protection of her children, then more strength for her.
