Bucharest [Romania], Dec 30 (ANI): Controversial social media star Andrew Tate was arrested in Romania on Friday along with his brother Tristan Tate over an investigation into a human trafficking case, Sports Bible, a UK based network focused on sports. The Directorate for Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism in Bucharest, or DIICOT, was about to end the raid, according to reports. Citing Romanian outlet Libertatea, Sport Bible reported that his home was raided on Thursday in connection with the kidnapping of two girls. Tate, who is noted for his controversial social media habit, is a former boxer with 76 wins and nine losses in his kickboxing career, according to the UK-based Sports Bible. The social media influencer was in the news recently after becoming embroiled in a heated argument with Swedish activist Greta Thunberg on Twitter, which later went viral. Tate, who is well known for his many misogynistic comments, started the feud by tagging Thunberg in a tweet about her 33 cars and her emissions contributing to pollution, according to the New York Post. On Twitter, Tate wrote: “Hi @GretaThunberg I own 33 cars. My Bugatti has a w16 8. 0L quad turbo. My TWO competitor Ferrari 812s have 6. 5 liter v12. This is just the start.
