Social media influencer and former kickboxer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been arrested in Romania on suspicion of rape, human trafficking and forming an organized criminal group. The 36-year-old man and his brother will be detained for 24 hours in Bucharest along two Romanian suspects, to prosecutors.
Tate rose to fame this year after posting debatable prospects online, following being forced to leave Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 after a video surfaced of him punching a woman.
Both claimed that the activities in the video were consensual.
