ABUJA (Reuters) – Do you miss the thrill of flying while the coronavirus is blocked?A place to eat in Nigeria now gives its consumers the fantasy of a robbery by having to leave the ground.

Urban Air diners in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, in comfortable white seats and navigate a menu of flying-themed cocktails next to windows with blue skies and swollen white clouds.

Some consumers take selfies when they leave the “cabin” to serve them.

“The environment is amazing given this crown material,” Fatima Garba, an IT worker, said on her visit at the moment.

“It’s been a while since we all have to get on a plane and that reminds us of that.”

Nigeria has suspected all foreign advertising flights since late March. It also cut domestic flights for several months, since then they have resumed.

The owner of the eating place Ugo Young said that even his partner, who is also a chef, had if a flight-themed dining spot would work..

Since its opening on August 15, it has served about a hundred hungry Nigerians hungry for adventure every day.

Young said the place to eat presented an affordable pleasure for nostalgic travelers.

“This was COVID, where other people may simply not have an Array …you can come here and feel like you’re in the air,” Young said.

For some, the restaurant, whose food starts at 2000 naira, will be closer to the sky for a while. While overseas flights are expected to resume on 5 September, returning to Nigeria will result in costly coronavirus tests in addition to airfare.

Divine Akufu, a 20-year-old student, said her selfies at Urban Air made her look like an adventurer.

“It looks like a jet here, ” he said.
