PORT HURON, Michigan, September 2, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – With abundant efforts underway to expand and verify a COVID-19 vaccine, Americans were asked how confident they were that a vaccine will be available to the public sooner.the end of 2020.
Only a third of Americans are sure they will have a vaccine before the end of the year.Opinions are uniform across the country.
Some differences of opinion are evident over age, with those aged 55 or over the least positive; at the same time, men are particularly positive than women, as are high-income people and people with higher education.
Across the country, intentions are sometimes consistent, those of the Midwest (61%) slightly less likely to receive the vaccine when available.
Demographically, the likelihood of vaccination decreases with age, while it is particularly higher among men, high-income Americans, and higher education graduates.
