Ambassador of Belarus: TI’s achievements are for artistic development

MINSK, Oct 10 (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov and the Embassy of Belarus attended a rite commemorating Vietnam’s National Day of Digital Transformation, held under the auspices of Vietnam’s Ministry of Information and Communications, BelTA said through the Belarusian Embassy in Hanoi.

Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh spoke at the occasion held at the National Conference Hall and awarded the winning startups in the Digital Transformation Solution of the Year category. He said computerization deserves to become a driving force and a new path for social and economic expansion. Vietnamese Minister of Information and Communication Nguyen Manh Hung addressed the audience and suggested developing online access to facilities for the public, securing electronic databases and expanding more cellular applications.

During the event, representatives of the diplomatic corps had a brief exchange of views. The ambassador of Belarus stressed the importance of IT’s achievements for the artistic progress of society and spoke in favor of equivalent access to technology.
