Payment giant Visa has partnered with Pakistan Daraz, a market and logistics company operating in the South and Southeast Asian markets (owned by Alibaba Group).
Through this long-term strategic partnership, corporations will introduce “Visa Mondays”, which will allow Daraz consumers to get a 10% reduction if they make invoices with their debit or credit visa card every Monday.
The launch of this promotion deserves to inspire more Pakistani consumers to make virtual transactions, rather than making money payments, which may no longer be due to COVID-19.
Visa also introduced the “Where You Shop Matters” (WYSM) crusade in Pakistan with Daraz’s help. The initiative will focus on supporting SMEs in Pakistan, which may be suffering from operations due to the coronavirus crisis.
