Bahrain Aluminium B. S. C. (Alba), one of the world’s largest aluminium foundries, is proud to receive the INJAZ Bahrain Volunteer Service Award for consecutive years.
This was announced at the rite of thanksgiving held under the patronage of HH Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, President of INJAZ Bahrain, held on 18 October 2022 at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Bahrain, where Alba CEO Ali Al Baqali won an award for the company’s contribution of 491 hours of volunteering, the highest among Bahraini companies, in 2021-2022.
In this event, several Alba workers were also identified for their participation in INJAZ systems. Head of Training, Nouf Ahmadi, won the Outstanding Coordinator Award for her role in facilitating the participation of Alba volunteers in various systems organized through INJAZ Bahrain, Public Director of Relations Abdulla Seyadee won the Certificate of Achievement (platinum) and the Certificate of Achievement (gold) was awarded to the Senior Manager of Events and Protocol, Ahmed Shukri, the Operational Excellence Supervisor, Manar Bahar and the Human Resources Coordinator, Fatima A. Rasool for their active volunteer work.
Speaking on the occasion, Alba CEO Ali Al Baqali said: “As a socially guilty company, Alba believes that volunteering is the voice of other people in action who, in turn, will shape and shape the offering in a better future. Expansion Project of Block Four of the Alba cinco Power Plant
Alba Power Station five (PSfive) Block four is a combined cycle power plant that is an extension of the existing PSfive.
The PS5 Block Four assignment is the addition of a fourth 1:1:1 configuration block with Class J fuel turbine generation and with a minimum ISO score of 680. 9 MW and includes a connection to the existing 220 kV substation. The combined cycle plant is much higher than that of the PS3 and PSfour combined cycle plants. Upon completion of the PS5 Block 4 expansion allocation, PS5’s rated capacity will increase from 1800 MW to 2481 MW.
