Air India to fly to Muscat-Kannur after September 11

Muscat: Air India has announced the suspension of Muscat, Oman to Kannur and Hyderabad. According to the airline, the last flights on those routes would take position on September 11. Meanwhile, Air India has also rescheduled its flights to Mumbai from Muscat.

The Muscat-Kannur flight was the only Air India service connecting Oman and Kerala. This service had operated in the past between Muscat and Kochi, but the address was replaced to Muscat-Kannur and operated on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

According to sources, poor consumers had forced Air India to withdraw service. By the way, Air India Express and GoAir had recently been introduced between Muscat and Kannur, which caused a drop in demand for Air India.
