AIB signs memorandum with Saudi company on aeronautical engineering education

The federal government has signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia on the education of aviation fate gyre researchers between the two countries.

Nigeria’s Accident Investigation Bureau, which has been transformed into the National Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), signed for Nigeria, while Saudi Arabia’s Accident Investigation Bureau signed for the Arab country yesterday in Abuja.

Speaking after the signing of the MoU, AIB-N Commissioner Akin Olateru said that “there is only one aviation in the world and the rule of the game is cooperation. There is no single country that is an island. We want to paint as a team to safety.

“Or we are established. Or we have equipment. Or we have human capital, but there are many classes we can be aware of. “

Speaking about the main points of the MoU, Olateru said: “Saudi Arabia will help us in the development of human capital, we can have concepts of interaction and all this about the protection of the flying public.

We will have a concordance of ideas.

There will be some form of exchange program.

This agreement would have been signed before COVID we are happy, it is signed now.

Also speaking, AIB Saudi Arabia CEO Abdulelah Felimban said: “We have come to meet with our Nigerian counterpart, the Nigerian Accident Investigation Bureau, to open channels of communication, cooperation, share experiences, learn from others and take credit for functions. that of us possesses.

“We are conducting investigations and announcing the protection of the lord.

Our task is to date, evidence, analyze and propose recommendations to make our skies safer.

He added that the MoU is “an executive program of technical cooperation. The merit for any of us is that there is a lot of learning that accompanies the investigations. This cooperative mechanism allows us to exchange wisdom and delight among our competitors.
