The total number of deaths, since the pandemic first hit the country, has risen to 5,30,781, with one new death reported in Kerala, according to the data.
The Covid case count recorded at 4. 46 crore (4,46,90,492).
Meanwhile, the country’s recovery rate registered 98. 80 percent, the ministry said.
The number of other people who recovered from the disease amounted to 4,41,56,093, while the case fatality rate was recorded at 1. 19%.
According to the ministry’s website, 220. 64 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the country as a component of the national vaccination campaign.
