African Union ImpactHER Forum with the best support organization for women and SMEs

A non-governmental organization focused on the impact that has impacted more than 45,000 female SMEs in 53 countries of the African continent, ImpactHER, has been awarded as the “Best Support Organization for Women SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in Africa”.

The organization paid tribute at the African Union Forum, on the theme “Economic Empowerment of SMEs, Women and Young Entrepreneurs to Achieve Africa’s Industrialization in the Context of the Integrated Market”, held at the Grand Nile Hotel, Cairo.

The Forum was organized with the aim of promoting, refining and proposing methods for a larger and more inclusive African SME sector to achieve the industrialization of Africa in the context of the embedded market.

Among the dignitaries present on the occasion are the Commissioner of the African Union, Ambassador Albert Muchanga; President, Afreximbank, Dr. Benedict Oramah; President, All African Associations of SMEs, Prof. Chandan Kheswar Jankee; President of the Egyptian Association of Women Entrepreneurs (EBWA), Dr. Amany Asfour; Executive Director, AUDA-NEPAD, Ms. Nardos Bekele-Thomas; Executive Director, ITC, Ms. Pamela Coke-Hamilton; the Minister of Trade and Industry of Egypt, Dr. Nevine Gamea, and many other prominent guests.
