Achim Degen appointed Managing Director of Colliers in Germany
LONDON, Nov. 13, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Colliers (NASDAQ and TSX: CIGI), a leading investment screening and diversified professional firm, today announced that Achim Degen, most recently Managing Director in Munich, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Colliers in Germany, effective immediately, reporting to Davoud Amel-Azizpour, CEO, EMEA.
Degen succeeds Matthias Leube, former CEO and head of capital markets in Germany, who agreed with Colliers to leave the company to pursue projects.
Degen is a well-known industry leader, with 34 years of experience at Colliers in Germany as an expert in capital markets, office leasing and growth consulting. He was previously managing partner of Colliers International Deutschland from 1999 to 2022, where he played a key role in the unification of the city’s long-standing businesses and the progression of several new service lines between 2006 and 2017.
